Both migration and import are used to bring data into Lime Go – but they differ in scope and complexity.
❔ How does it work?
Migration
A migration involves a complete transfer of all your data with all connections and history – companies, people, deals, meetings, reminders, documents, and employees all come along as a complete whole.
Import
An import is more basic and transfers core information about companies, people, and employees with simpler connections. Deeper history and relationships included in a migration are not carried over.
A migration is done before you start working in Lime Go. Once you're up and running, a supplementary import is the only option.
