Almost all data carries over in a merge, but keep in mind that the master card always takes priority.
❔Why is that?
The master card is the main card in the merge. Master data that takes priority is data in fields, such as name, phone number, address - including custom fields. So if these fields are filled in on the master, that data is chosen. Only empty fields on the master are filled in by the duplicates.
Data that carries over if the master fields are empty:
- All fields, including custom fields
Data that always carries over from the duplicates to the master:
- Manually created people (not people from our data provider)
- Documents
- Lists
- Deals
- Tags
- Invoices
- Activities
