Why are the last digits missing from the organisation number for sole traders?

✅
This is intentional and done to comply with GDPR.
❔ How does it work?
Sole traders use the owner's personal identity number as their organisation number. This is classified as personal data under GDPR, which is why our data provider Vainu masks the last four digits to protect the individual. The same practice is applied by most other business data providers.
💡
We are changing data provider to Vainu. Once Vainu is fully integrated into Lime Go, you will have access to significantly more company data. This is one of the larger differences right now, but the overall changes will be positive.
