This is likely because the time zone settings in your apps or devices don't match.
How do I do it?
Here's a checklist to help you fix it:
1. Check the settings for Outlook Desktop App: Go to File, Options, Calendar, and then Time zones.
2. Outlook on the web
Click Settings in the top right, then View all Outlook settings, General, and Language and time.
⚠️
If you use both the web and desktop versions, you need to update the time zone settings in both.
2. Outlook on the web
Click Settings in the top right, then View all Outlook settings, General, and Language and time.
3. Windows system time zone
Go to Settings, Time & language, and then Date & time. Check that the correct time zone is set, either automatically or manually.
4. Microsoft 365 account
Sign in at myaccount.microsoft.com, go to Settings and privacy, and then Time zone. This setting affects Teams, Outlook on the web, and calendar synchronization.
5. Exchange Server (if applicable)
Contact your administrator if you use Microsoft Exchange. The settings can be reviewed via the Exchange Admin Center or PowerShell.
⚠️
To avoid inconsistent meeting times — make sure the time zone is the same in Outlook desktop, Outlook on the web, Windows, and your Microsoft 365 account.
